I really like QR codes. These 2D bar codes can hold all kinds of information from URLs to contact information to calendar events, in a compact little square of black and white. Also, because they aren’t widely used (yet), they are kind of like secret codes that only those in the know can decipher, while in reality, anyone with a Android device or iPhone and a bar code app can read them.
QR codes have a lot of practical applications but I never thought of putting them on food. That’s why I think these cupcakes from Montreal’s clevercupcakes which are scannable and edible, so your can destroy the evidence. 🙂
